Assoc. Prof. Hacı Hasan ABUOGLU

Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon

Assoc. Prof. MD Hasan Abuoğlu was born in 1977 in Konya.

He completed his primary and secondary education in Konya.

Medicine Faculty:

He entered Selçuk University in 1994 and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 2000.

Specialization in Medicine:

Between 2003 and 2009, he completed his residency at Medeniyet University, Göztepe Training and Research Hospital, Department of General Surgery and received the title of General Surgery Specialist in 2009.

He worked in the fields of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Colon and Gastric Tumors, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Surrenal Surgery and Hernia Surgery.

In 2012, he joined the Liver Transplantation team at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic. He performed many successful surgical operations here. He worked as a responsible manager in the Organ Transplantation Department of Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital.

Overseas Experience:

In 2014, he worked as a researcher at Cleveland Clinic Hepatopank Reatobilier and Liver Transplantation Service and Cleveland Clinic in the United States for 6 months. During these periods, he worked briefly with the Renal Transplantation team and took part in Renal Transplantation surgeries.
